A nursery where children feel safe and seen
We care for children from 3 months to preschool age in a warm, secure setting that is full of purpose. Our day nursery follows the EYFS, which means your child learns through play in ways that suit their age, stage and personality. Safety is central to daily life, with robust safeguarding procedures, trained staff, and clear routines that help children settle well.
We recognise parents as their child's first and most important educators, and we build strong partnerships through open communication and regular nursery updates. Peter Pan Day Nursery gives your child space to build confidence, curiosity and independence from the very start. That matters when you're choosing childcare, because you want more than supervision. You want a place where your child can learn, play and thrive with people who genuinely know them.

Learning that grows with your child
Your child moves through rooms designed for their stage of development, from Little Darlings, Mermaids and Tiger Lily to Tinkerbell and Neverland. We plan activities around individual interests, so your child might be drawn into story time, number games, arts and crafts, active learning through play or creative play. Tapestry helps you stay close to the day, with observations, assessments, photographs and updates from your child's key person.
You can also share updates from home, helping us build an even clearer picture of your child's development. We also complete regular progress monitoring in line with the EYFS, including two-year checks with you where needed, and provide individual support plans where appropriate. Peter Pan Day Nursery keeps that partnership open and practical because the optimal support happens when home and nursery pull in the same direction.

Frequently asked questions
Why the environment matters so much
Early years children learn well when they feel settled, included and encouraged to explore. Our outdoor spaces, supervised visits to local green spaces, woodland learning experiences and nature-based activities give your child room to move, notice and discover.
Outdoor play encourages physical development, while quiet times, rest routines, small group moments and larger group activities all play an important part, because not every child learns at full volume. In Oswestry, we carefully create that balance, so your child can develop socially, physically and emotionally at a healthy pace.
